*edit* Does the 650i mobo suppourt dual cores?
Depending on your price range, the Phenom 9850BE isn't bad for multitasking at all. You could get an AMD X2 6000+ for $113 @ Newegg. If you're looking for the best bang for your buck, it's completely up to you. I say stick with AMD, the B3 Phenoms have more than they're given credit for.

I would get a 750i FTW board instead, but not sure if that's within budget.

I'm pretty made up the 650i since i'm getting it next to nothing. If i had to say a budget I would say 130 max? But i'm really looking to spend alot less due to i'll be able to get it faster !

It's the same processor as E2180/E2160, except it has a higher multi.
E2200 here are two types one has stock clock of 2.0GHz and the other has Stock clock of 2.4GHz I cannot tell you the overclockability on them

Chip I would snap up are
E7200 (You'll need BIOS 1002 or higher to run this chip)
E2180 (Great overclocking chip get a 100%OC on air)
E1400 or E1200 (Has low L2 Cache 512KiB but overclocks like crazy)

Chips best features
E7200 overclock to 3+ GHz is great for gaming no Bottlenecking with SLI or Crossfire
E2180 overclock to 3+ GHz is good for games the only thing letting it down is the L2 Cache
E1200 or E1400 overclock to 3+ GHz is great for all your general purpose needs like watching movies. Its good with low end games like CS;S but not GRID and the high end stuff

If you want a good CPU for you dollar get a E8200 it just on your budget if you buy OEM.

E2200 is EOL (replaced by the 5200)

Intel price cuts July 20th

You should be able to pick-up a E7200 for a good price then or wait for the E5200 which should be under $99
