Hey Dude just relized we have the same proccesor. That Brisbrane Core AMD 4400+ can be overclocked to 3.2 GHz easy but can go to 3.3 GHz(not very stable)!

True you do get what you pay for but the best budget so far this year is the E7200. I cannot wait for his big brother to come out E7300 with a 10 multi

Core 2 Quads are great. The 650i supports the Q6400 / Q6600 / Q6700 / QX6700 / QX6800.

The 650i is better with duels than quad you've got to remember the 650i chipset is nearly 2 years old that when Quads started to come out.

I would get a different mobo I know rig has a 650i but I also have a Striker II Formula 780i which is being used for my beast rig.

seriously, if you can, stay away from skt775 ASUS boards with nvidia chipsets. they are nothing but problems. they don't follow reference nvidia designs and that causes many problems. i had a horrid experience with my asus P5N-E SLI (left me without a comp for 2 months due to RMA) if you can, get a different brand or go intel with asus.

ok if u have the money e8400 its overclocks so well im at 4.05ghz if u dont then a e6550 very good can reach 3.2 stable overclock almost a ghz
