All those companies on NVidia's payroll might be able to advance software development to catch up with the hardware that's existed for almost a year....:swearing:
Thanks to NVidia inhibiting the development of games with DX10.1 using their market force software devs have some catching up to do with the real DX10.......not the fake DX9.5 we've been experiencing with the antics of Crysis (which can all be enabled in XP using almost the exact same visual quality.)

As far as I know, the only reason current cards are not on a 512 bit bus is because it just isn't cot effective. The consumer will not be willing to pay the price for such little gains. Take the 2900XT+ GDDR4 for example, the gains were just too insignificant and with the prices it just wasn't viable. So they skipped it completely.

I doubt we will see any 512 bit buses for a while, at least until they can start coming up with ways to lower prices. I could be wrong, but I am just going on what I have read.

You sound like you are such developer who got bought. Unless you have any proof it is just a speculation which can't be used to make bold statements.

The way i see it, game developers are interested to sell their product and when there're tons of G80/G92 (much more than HD3/HD4 for sure) it will be stupid and a suicide to make a game for minority.

This scenario would be a nice example in an ecomomics class to show how competition effects price, supply, and demand.
