3U Case Airflow and CPU heatsink/fan selection...

Hey Yall,

I will be building 4 3u cases here soon and I need to find the best airflow solution possible. I am a noob at this kinda stuff so I figured I would ask the pros. I will be running an OC'd 3ghz Q6600 on 4 gigs of ram pretty much 100% load 24/7. I need to do this on air and it needs to be fairly quiet. Do you guys have a suggestion for the best heatsink which will fit in such a case?

Here is the case I have decided upon:

Here are some more specs on it:

Do you guys recommend any more fans or maybe putting in aluminum channels to guide the air better...since the processors will basically be sitting 5" from each other, I hope its feasible that they do not effect each other...

Thanks for the advice...

see that case i see just what i believe to be
1x 80mm exhaust
2x 60mm exhaust

for a quad to be on load at 100% 24/7 it may heat up a little bit.

with that you might have to stick to the stock cooling, as i don't see many options for low profile coolers.

i'd probably cut a hole or two on top of the case and mount some 120 fans if possible on the top panel to pull some air.

but the try testing the temps on it first. it may work out to be okay.

Yeah I will, I am going to go heatsink shopping at microcenter, I am gonna barge in there with the machine mostly built and see which one will fit better for the CPU...I have been thinking about it and I am going to try and fit a 120mm in the main 5.25" bay, and possibly another one (80mm maybe) on the far right expansion spots...

Everything is SATA or simple power for the fans in the case so airflow should be optimized. Externally power will be on the right and network will be on the left so things should be very clean...Plan B is to cut holes in each side of the case and push out the air...hmm, we will see. Thanks for the advice...

Do you think the fans on the corsair dominator ram are worth anything? Maybe if I put them at an angle instead of on top of the ram, I could push more air over everything?

Thanks!
