Newb folding question!

Hey guys i'm new to folding.
I've been folding for about 2-3 weeks now with the smp client.
I never keep my PC on 24/7, i turn it off when i go to work and if no one is going to be home. I'm really cautious about something happening.
So every time im home, I turn it on and let it fold which is probably like 10-15 hours a day. I don't see too much performance coming out of my CPU which is OCed to 3.6. So im thinking about getting the gpu client.
My question is can i run it with SLI, will it pull from only a single card ? Or pull from both for better folding? Or do i have to disable SLI ?
Thanks for the help in advance

i have read there is a way to get gpu2 running on 2 cores but i dont know how.

tbh to max out your production you would be best of running vmware to get linux foldin on your cpu and then have gpu2 on your cards.

i had to follow
http://www.overclock.net/overclock-n...mp-vmware.html
that guide to get vmware player working and
http://www.overclock.net/overclock-n...ntu-guide.html
that guide for all the info on ubuntu.

i think is the thread for your multi gpu issue

Yep just follow those guides. And if you just want one gpu2 http://www.overclock.net/overclock-n...ah-6-12-a.html

You will need to update your graphic drivers if you haven't already.
