Anyone got a e6550 OC'ed? how far did you go , and what voltages did you get to safe?

Im at 3.2ghz and at 1.35 Volt not sure where i should be but it works

You can't really go off of anyone else's results. Everyone's cpu is different and you will never get the same exact results. Just keep raising the fsb until you can no longer boot, and that is when you play with either the voltages or the memory timings.

thats almost a full gig of overclock on pretty little amount of voltage, nice. if your temps are good under load keep going!

i think 1.32 volts got my e6550 up to 3.5GHz...like the first poster said though all of the chips are different.

i have gone as far as 3.94ghz but my memory shot out

So i do 3.74ghz 24/7 with 1.52 volts
