Using AC for such a heatload is such a waste to me....
EDITED:

While I like the idea, it is really not feasible to do this with how our computers and the room are setup. Really all of this goes beside the point I am trying to discuss (not to downplay your trying to help with the a/c thing in any way) which is the power that is required to run folding farms and how it is handled in a typical home/apartment/whatever. How do people like Gibson run these massive quad farms? Do they run extension cords to different parts of the house so as not to overload a circuit? Do they even draw that much power? It is things like this that I am curios about and that I think others might want to think about as well.

Radiators go outside! Punch holes in the walls and borrow outlets on different circuits. You can get simple tools to determine which circuit an outlet is on.

What would be the reason for this? Forgive me for asking, but all the sinus and congestion problems is making it hard to think sometimes.

I already know which outlets are on which circuits, that's pretty easy. I have a pretty small house and one half is on one circuit and the other half is on the other circuit (minus the major appliances like washer, dryer, h/a, etc). This goes for receptacles only and not lights and fans.

Hey Ben, here is my deal. If you have seen pictures of my farm, you know my setup. I have the majority of my farm in my office/laundry room. I have found that I can run 7 rigs without tripping the breaker. I have to shut one down while we do laundry, or it would trip the breaker. I have 2 fans running at all times to circulate the air in the office. Those fans are running off of extension cords from other outlets(in other rooms). I have 3 rigs in our living room, and at one time, I had 2 more in our bedrooom.

So, to answer your question. When you get a large farm, it is necessary to distribute your rigs in different locations in the house. There are 2 reasons for this. (1) The electricity that we have already covered. (2) THE HEAT!!

Basically, It's a trial and error kind of thing. You will have to see how much you can have in one room before you trip the breaker. Then just keep the volts under that. I hope this helps alittle. Let me know if I can help you in anyway.

so if you add a 88gt to the mix with your farm you will need to trim it down to 4 a room?

I ran a dedicated 3 wire 20a 110v as recommended for my UPS1300. It has been fine with 4 PCs, DVI/KVM, router and monitor. The nonessentials (lights and speakers) run off the standard wall socket. Anymore and I'll have to run another line.

I have actually added one 8800gt to the mix, and have had no breaker trips. I will be adding one more in a couple of days, we'll see how it goes. I may have to add it to one of the rigs in the living room.

No, this will be the last one. I currently run 3, this will be 4. I have to keep the electricity bill down as low as possible, thats why the majority of my farm is running the diskless setup.(barebones)
