Just press the X man.. it saves the virtual machine and restarts it after you launch again.... MUCH more efficient, not to mention it takes like 5 seconds to start back up

"Just press the X". haha I love it. simple and to the point

The so-called proper way to close out vmware player is to click the mouse pointer in the player window and press ctrl-alt-insert. Then ctrl-alt to retrieve your mouse pointer back to windows.
If the player itself is hard locked. You go up top to troubleshooting. And click reset.
Or, I suppose you could just press the X. lol
Yeeeeesh FreeRoller. I thought I taught you better than that.
But yeah, that works too. Unless you are using the vmplayer to test an OS. Then it might lose it's settings

Just make sure that in the Preferences it's set to "When exiting: Suspend the virtual machine". I think that's the default, but on mine I had to change it just now. I may have messed with it though.

Shut down the client and restart it. If it continues to hang you have an issue to deal with, otherwise the FahMon should reattain the clients status in about 5-10 minutes.

Help. I get stuck after I try to open the ub1.4.vmx. Keep getting this error

C:\\Users\\Paul\\Documents\\VMWare\\ub1.4\\ub1.4.v mxf" line 1: Syntax error.

I can double click the VMWare Config and it works, but then it doesn't fold.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
