Intel E5450 and X5460

Through circumstances that can only be described as fortuituous I currently am the possessor of both E5450 and X5460 chips. It has been 5 years since my last computer build and although I have been keeping up on Toms hardware and HardOcp my time to fully read articles has been.. well lets just say I dont have the time anymore @ work.

After lurking for a couple months I figure this would be a good place to start. I am curious if anyone has tried out these procs in any sort of gaming enviroment. I know they are not what most people would use, but free is free right?

Just did the first thing I should have done and NewEgg'd the Proc type (771) and unless I can toss this proc inside a 775 board I am not going to be dropping $500 on a board anytime soon.

The FSB of the 5450 is 1333 right? You should be able to use it at least in a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813182158

By itself it would be comparable to a desktop chip running at the same frequency, but if you threw two of them on a board you'd have a monster.
