Best Budget AM2+ Mobo - Page 2

Hmm, interesting, I just looked up the supported CPUs for the Biostar boards, and I noticed that they all support phenom up to the 9650, so I assumed it was because of the higher TDP of the 9850... until I saw that the 6000+ (125w) was supported, although for some reason the 6400+ is not listed. Any Idea why, because if it can support the 6000's 125w, shouldn't it be able to support a 9850 or 6400's 125w? Or have they just not updated in a little while?

logan, scroll down to the bottom of the CPU support list.... for some reason they have the 9850 and 9750 listed there.

Nice catch, I guess I didn't notice that (figured it would be organized with the newest ones on top... like they had been doing). I also noticed that for instance, my TF720 says it wont support a 6400 or a 9850, but it will support the 6000, while the TF8200 says that it will support both the 9850 and the 6400, but not the 6000. But all of those have the same TDP. I guess I'm just not understanding something, or its just how they've been updating the lists.

Anyway, since I'm not planning on upgrading anytime soon, its probably a moot point, and I didn't mean to hijack this thread, I was just suddenly attacked my curiosity when i was looking to see if their boards supported the 9850.
