You guys would pass out if you guys found out how much my projector cost's, and I know the jvc rs2 is only 1/3 of the price and very close to the performance of my sim c3x 1080p pj but honestly the jvc just doesnt cut it for what I want.
just so you guys know..

jvc rs 1080p projector $5999...

sim c3x $16.999 and both are very close in performance but I don't care about how close they are in performance I just wanted the best of what I could afford.

Hence I got 3 gtx 280s cause it was the best I could afford and I can careless if 2-4870s are "close" in performance at the end of the day they are not as good.

Now if 2-4870x2s beat my tr sli setup then you know what I will be getting next It is getting to the point though that for now though it is pointless since my tri sli plays any game I throw at it at my screen resolutions.

Yay ATI is getting some love
We can't let the competition die or Nvidia will be able to charge whatever they want for their cards.

I seriously don't hate any company at all. In fact, I love ATI and Nvidia equally. But, whichever company makes the better price/performance card, will belong to me.

And yes, ATI did kick Nvidia's balls hard. It was so hard, it made Nick Jonas squeeeeeal.

Personally, I think the article is stupid. There will be of course a competitor in the market trying to deliver better products and to get a larger amount of the money available in any given market. Even if there was one company that completely overshadows another company with their amazing GPU's and they dominate the market, the government will force the company to split into smaller companies order to prevent monopolization. This is not to say that ATi is inferior, I love their products as much as NVidia's, but pointing out that ATi is a savior from high prices is ridiculous.

Well in a way they are really a savior from high prices. If the HD4k series would've been crappy, the prices of GTX260's and GTX280's wouldn't have dropped yet. They also did bring performance comparable to the $450 GTX260 down to the $300 level.

Maybe there is a lot of hype and overreaction in favor of AMD/ATi right now, but I think a lot of people are in shock because most people were not expecting HD4k to perform as well as it is.

However, it's probably more accurate to say that it's competition driving down the prices as opposed to AMD.
