Erm...dude there are life threatening object headed for us all the time. They usually hit the moon first though.

So Enterprise repeats what chopes said in response to your post. Big deal.

The instrument is of high value, imo more than $12 million. Funding should continue, regardless of SETI.

And for the record: SETI@HOME is a larger distributed computing project than folding@home. So for those who say that they'd switch to seti@home because 'folding@home has so much power'.. that's not a really good reason.
