is that true HD4850 is better than the GTX 260 896MB can you prove this information. It seem hard for GTX 260 which is only like 15 to 20% slower than a GTX 280 to be out performed by a ATI 4850HD

Edit comfirmed by Video in Cyrsis by Maxishine A 4870HD performs slightly better than a 9800GTX this being a 260GTX will out perform a 4850HD only slight tho but has the the ability to go TRI SLI

Don't get old gen AMDs. Hell, don't get AMD at all. If you're on a budget E2xxx is the way to go. Add an ice-cool cooler and you'll get the same performance as a stock 45nm dual-core (almost).

Also getting 1066 RAM is pretty pointless. Sure, there's more bandwidth but you'll hardly feel the difference.

I didn't say higher performance. I said "better". In this case the price/performance ratio of the HD4850 is untouchable.
