Probably. One thing for sure is it doesn't help so get rid of any that arent being used.

Ding Ding Ding!

Or a screw or a piece of metal that was stuck somewhere.

it was some motherboard standoff screws that was should not have been screwed in. Wow... i cant believe i overlooked that.

On another note, i got my other noctua fan in today, so i will be running push pull with the noctua fans that come with the cooler.

To me, the noctua fan didn't push much air through the HS so I have mine blowing over my hard drive.

After doing much research, I think I'll pick up one of these coolers. Seem to fit my needs exactly, I just wish they had a black version like the true. Also wish there was an easy way to get the good quality Yate Loon's in australia... probably will have to grab kaze's.

Reading through most of this thread, the general consensus seems to be that with very high CFM fans its not worth going push/pull? If anyone could clarify, that would be great xD Looking at the 2000 rpm kaze with 87 cfm.

Also for anyone investigating this cooler for amd systems, the included AM2 backplate will allow you to mount it vertically Main reason I'm grabbing this, s1284/3 only mounts horrizontally in amd boards, limiting your choice of ram.

Can't wait, good thread btw, +rep!

Yeah you don't need push-pull on this cooler if you're using something 85CFM or higher. The fin spacing is wide enough that it's not really needed.
