Getting a little picky now? I have both AS5 and MX-2, and on different days both pastes beat each other. They are dead close in a race, AS5 is more than fine. Sure you might lose an extra degree or two, but saying NO AS5 is a little much, it is still one of the best pastes you can buy.

I just don't understand why you would buy something inferior, when the products that beat it cost the same. It's just an average paste when OCZ Freeze, MX-2, Noctua NT-H1, Shin Esu, and IC7 all beat it.

I've tested all those pastes myself, and I trust what I've done way more than those reviews don't by websites.

well from what ive read AS5 needs to cure for longer. so tests done immediately after the pastes are applied aren't accurate. mad shrimps should be re-posting their 33 TIM roundup soon w/ the extended cure results so that should be illuminating as to how much cure time has an effect.

not that it really matters, they're all so close at the top. not a whole lot of difference. personally im just going to use the NT-H1 because it comes free w/ the heatsink. not worth another $10 to me to get 0.3C off load temps.

just a heads up though. svc.com has AS5 for $7 w/ free shipping right now.

In my experience, the Noctua paste is a bit better than AS5. I'm not sure why people say AS5 has to cure either...i've never seen an improvement in temps after a few days or whatever.

i have the Noctra UH90 not 120 and after a lil bit of review id have to say yes the u12 has 120mm fan but i am running twin push pull 90mm and my pc temps are awesome,

also changed the Northbridge to a U6 noctra and all is all everything is cool ~~!

so after lots of thoughts its not worth it for me to upgrade to the U12. - i have a good source of these units at AUD62.00 good price too !

IMO
