Actually, that's a screw up on Topower's part (surprise surprise). The actual +12V combined output is 64A, not 54A.

That's how Gabe was able to pull off 855W with a 63A load on the +12V. It finally died because it hit 57°C (the unit's only rated to do 800W continuous at 40°C):

Even Topower's 750W has 56A on the +12V.

Thread Starter
I was just offering a good deal didn't expect this to escalate to such verbal violence (LOL im proud...)

Regardless - you could still run in SLI two 9800gtx's w/ this psu AND

IF you had not noticed its the exact same thing (well duh its BFG) that BFG sells from their store : http://www.bfgstore.com/ProductDetai...=BFGR800WPSULE

AND LOOK AT THE PRICE BFG SELLS IT FOR.

so its a 200 Dollar psu being sold for 80... why complain or try and find a reason to complain????

I didn't see any verbal violence.

Unless "cheapested' is somehow a foul word.

It is pretty violent against the English language.

I hope I wasn't the verbally violent one. I know I can a bit... abrasive... sometimes, but this thread seemed pretty friendly to me.

I know BFG cards have lifetime warranty, but do their PSU's have it also?
LS series is 5 year, GS series is 3 year, not sure about MX since it isn't for sale in the US and everything else is lifetime (ES-800 and all their old stuff BFGR650, 800 and 1000W)

edit:
Lol, if you read the fine print on the LS it says only 3 years: http://www.bfgtech.com/CMDocs/BFGTec..._sellpiece.pdf

That's a typo on the sell piece. Apparently someone did a copy and paste from the GS over to the LS.

LS is 5 years. The old Topower built units, what we're discussing here in this thread, are actually Lifetime Warranty.
I had a hunch that's what it was. You should also get someone to have a talk with Newegg. They list the LS with a lifetime warranty: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...G+Technologies

Yeah, I remember that specific rebate, too bad it was only for purchases made from Newegg. I decided to just buy mine somewhere else since I saved $40 compared to buying it at newegg. I guess I can be happy for that deal.
