okay, so now what video card? ill look into the tv tuner card, but what about my video card? my 8800gts you said cant output good enough for bluray so what should i do about that?

On board video. The 780G has a HD3200... it can easily do 1080p BluRay. The chipset with onboard video only consumes 14w under full load so it also keeps your case cool.

how come it seems to weird that something so cheap can output 1080p? i know you are the guru of all this but how come?

AMD owns the HTPC market with the 780G. NVIDIA came out with a 8200 chipset that competes with it but the 780G is still better.

Under full load, the build I have above consumes less than 120w. Throw on a good CPU HSF and some <1000RPM fans. Nearly silent.

yes, because it will save you money and you don't need after market cooling for an Athlon dual core (non-overclocked).

It is MUCH cooler, cheaper, and uses less power. For Blu-Ray and Vista, you just need a 2GHZ+ dual-core. You can run it nearly passively.
