With a high end system like that, why not go with Vista x64? Ever since SP1, plenty of bugs have been fixed and Vista is pretty much stable for the gamer. If you don't like Vista, at least grab x64 XP.

okay a couple things... why do you need 2 processors?

and you should probably go with 2 x 2gb ram instead. 4 sticks puts unnecessary stress on the ram controller and heats up the nb

Do you really need a combo Blu-Ray/HD-DVD drive?

Running 2x2gb sticks on a P5B deluxe will have issues due to its max tRFC number of 42, you're going to want at least 55. I don't believe this can be fixed with a bios flash either..so either 4x1gb or new board.
