Is it normal to do the same WU 2-3 times in a row?

I've done 5214_supervil twice now.

I don't know the ins & outs of the assignments, but I believe, most are based upon a period of time until a deadline for submissions is met.

In the same breath, I can honestly say that I've gotten the same WUs in my Win SMP clients 5+ times in a row.

Thanks Indy.

But is it really beneficial for the research for me to be doing the same one over and over?

I believe the purpose is to find the right protein(s) to react to whichever illness they are researching for the WU. If you think about it, there are hundreds of thousands of people probably working on the same WU at the same time just to find the one combination that will attack whatever illness they are trying to find a cure for.
