Hey, (welcome)

1. Depends on the games pretty much. I will however say that it will DEFINATLY be an improvement over the x550. You will easily see the difference. Just have your next upgrade be 2 gigs of ram and a nice core2

2. I think the card runs on 20A on the 12 volt line... so just check the box. It says on the site that 450W is the minimum so get a good quality 450 or the cheaper 500-550+ and you should probably be fine.

3. Yep. It only needs PCI-Express to work.

These are matching your system better http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...lue_pro_series as your mainboard speccs say 400 - 533Mhz memory.
But the otherones will run on your board, but at a lower frequency then they are made for.

You could probably get away with less card at your resolution. Something really cheap, like an 8800 GS/9600 GSO (super OC'able) or 9600 GT. You can get these for under $150. I have an xfx 8800 GS in my secondary rig and just straight flashed it with their XXX version's bios and worked just fine. I think they just produce one card and use two different bios'. I had to RMA my psu from said machine but once I get it back I'm going to see just how far I can push that card.

Quoted for truth. At that level, your CPU would be holding you significantly back.

I would get a 8800GS or maybe a 3870. Also, that motherboard might limit the bandwith a 4850 would need...
Blackbox.
