Best 775 CPU Heatsink that is under 110mm tall

Thread Starter
The case that I have does not leave much room for a CPU Heatsink. Well not one of the HUGE ones. So I need to find the best one for overclocking that is under 110mm tall.

my case:

Any thoughts?

And Noctua also has a newly released one (if near absolute silence is your thing).

That would fit if I didn't have the fan on top of it. I am not worried to much about silence, just wanting something around $50 or less.

I will be overclocking a Q6600 to around 3.4ghz with p35 dfi lan party.

The 92.7mm mesurement for this is without the 120mm fan on top. This would add another 1" or about 25mm to the top of it making it around 117mm, so it wouldn't work for me.

Any other thoughts?

are the dimensions always length, width, height? because overclockers.co.uk has some good ones.

Zalman CNPS8700?

I'm not sure how great a performer it is, but it's much shorter than even the stock HSF.

EDIT: According to SPCR, it does not perform quite as well as the SI-128 or Scythe Ninja Mini, but is much smaller (what you're looking for).

OMG I hate myself. I didn't even think about that and sending back that case is going to cost me almost what I paid! #$%#$% Errrr

So far I am not doing so hot with the new build. (New to overclocking)

I have a DFI DK-P35 LANDPARTY comes tomorrow and would have found this out then...

Just got a Q6600 G0 today and bought a GeminII CPU cooler since it would fit the height even with the fans on top.

I guess it is time to search for a new freaking case. I liked the compact look of this one.
