Vista Issue

I have my monitor set to turn off after 10 minutes of idling, but when I move the mouse it turns on but nothing responds once i get the image, only way to bring it out of it is to press CTRL+Alt + Del and bring up task manager. Is there a fix for this other then what i have stated? All my power saving features have been turned off except the monitor.

Thanks in advance <3

Well, I had this problem when coming out of sleep mode, my monitor just wouldnt get an image from the computer, so it was just off.

I just switched it to VGA instead of DVI and it hasn't happened since, but I don't know if that will help solve your problem.

No thats not it, Its very weird. It'll display an image but it'll be just of the Desktop. Cant click anything, but if i press ctrl + alt + del and launch taskmanager it goes back to normal, its just annoying and ....weird.

Do you have SP1 installed yet? I know it had a fix for this type of thing.

Did you try like, right clicking, or hitting the Windows key? Something other than Ctrl + Alt + Del to make something happen?

Yeh, i have SP1 installed, i have tried other keys, they dont do anything. Next step would be to re-install the Drivers.

Edit: Re-installed the Driver, did a full clean of it in safe mode with DC Pro, Same thing still happens. I think its a windows option.

I found the issue, turns out its the Aero theme....But now windows looks like balls without it.
