RMAing P5N-D, need something new.....

and one that will work!! 2 p5n-d's and they both have same (no POST) problem.

anyway im lookin for a really good overclocker with 2 pci-e slots. it could be either SLI or crossfire. im using a Pentium 4 right now that im going to overclock to the max then will be swapping out for a q6600 or q9xxx.

price range is hopefully under 175 with shipping, i can splurge a lil bit tho if you have a good suggestion.

please recommend something. i am back where i was a month ago.

please help . the refund is going to go through so i can either buy another p5n-d or i can avoid more heartbreak with a new board probably.

another question while im at it. Are DFI boards pretty much the best budget overclockers out there? they seem to have good prices and a lot of recommendations on this forum.

P5N-D is a good choice. pci-e 2.0 supports, 45 nm supports, EPU (well i wont work if u overclock) the biggest thing is Cheaper that EVGA 750i FTW. EVGA is not pci-e 2.0 and people complain about the northbridge fan that blows hot air to the video card. one thing that i dont like from P5N-D is the south bridge heatsink. it very small and it really HOT...

Some people really satisfied, some of them are not. it is your luck to get a good Board. Good luck

Asus P5Q, that´s gonna be my future MOBO, it appears to do nicely OCing, and has 2 PCI 16x lanes, so you´ll be able to CF.

My opinion... if anything better please say it.

Hey P5N-D is the best bang for the buck but you could go X38 other then that your next option would be 780i.
Also do you still have the northbridge fan? if so would you be willing to sell it since mine didnt come with one.
Thanks Josh
