Overclocking GPU card for Crysis

Thread Starter
alright, so i've been playing crysis for a bit now, with my GPU overclocked, and its been running well...
but today when i woke up, i overclocked my GPU, and crysis just started to crash...can someone tell me if its my GPU card or just the game...

and another question...could someone give me some overclocking numbers cuz everyone time i try, the memory is either to high, or the core clock is too high
sorry im a noob

If youve been playing at the same settings for a while now and it just started crashing id say its the game.
It could also be a point in the game that is more intensive than others to some function of your card.. try playing thru it with the card at stock and see if it crashes, if it doesnt you know the gpu OC was too high

Have you stress tested your cpu overclock lately?

Its just to find the root of the problem..

Id stress cpu, then memory. If both pass then you know its the vid card...

With vid card overclocking, just because you dont see artifacts in ati tool or furmark doesnt mean its 100% stable. After you dont find artifacts its a good idea to play a couple of your more intensive games for a good period of time (1 hr or more each)

I have game crashes when I play at higher OC. Yet I can bench and stress with ATI tool all day
