Do all of you with WC systems think it's worth it? I feel like its very expensive, and you have to do maintenance every year on it. I've seen pictures of people's heatsinks that have carodded when they weren't supposed to! And I've heard horror stories. IDK, seems scary to me!

And I also carry my rig back and forth from Jersey to PA for school. Only during week long breaks or something like that. Occasionally for a long weekend, because I really don't have time to play any games at school (unfortunately).

I think watercooling is the 2nd best investment i have made for my PC, right after my quad. Even though my watercooling isn't the best available.

Corrosion only happens if you mix the metals in your loop. Mixing aluminum and copper is popular (but wrong) as the 2 react and cause an aspolsion in your loop.

This = Bad

Stepping - G0
FSB - 1700
Multi - 425 x 8
Voltage - 1.322
Idle/Load Temps- /45,45,39,44 /69,69,63,66 Ambient is 27
CPU Cooler - Xigmatek S1283
Mobo - Asus P5K-E, Running Xp 32bit

Trying to get my temps down. I ordered the bracket for my cooler and that is supposed to help some. Also i think we all should have Ambient temps in here too. Your temps do not mean ANYTHING without an ambient.

27 ambient is tougher to work with, but, yeah, you should still be seeing much lower temps than those.

Anyhow... my specs...

Multi - 355x9
Vcore - 1.30
FSB volts - 1.35
Idle/Load temps - 38/55 C
Ambient temp - 27 C (81 F)
CPU Cooler - Core Contact Freezer (w/ fan included... changed to ultra kaze soon)
