ok so i have 2 monitors..

and i keep CPUz.. temps.. and everything else on the 2nd screen..

heres the thing.

my core speed reads

2666
and than it drops to 2000

than back to 2666..
and than back down to 2000mhz.

it does this like once 2-3 seconds.

i cant help not seeing it change.

is this normal ?

You need to disable speedstep, C1E ect. those are power saving features that drop your multi during minimal CPU loading.

Its quite a bit more then 2 cents a month, and it reduces heat on your setup (lower Idle temps so you can leave your system on and not have it heat up)

Unless it really bugs you, you should leave it on.

im not gonna turn it off.. unless its gonna damage the cpu, which i dont think it would since intel invented it.. (lol!).

i always leave my PC on, so if it reduces heat and stuff, even better!
