I may have to clear off an entire desk after I watch Jumper and give it a shot. How do I set it up as an external monitor? Never actually done it before...

Just connect it to your laptop via VGA and then go into properties and display and ENABLE monitor 2. You can then drag it to whatever side of monitor 1 you have it setup on.

So, I'm guessing the picture isn't that well if you have to "imagine a magnificent view".

But really, how's it look?

Just plug it in and the laptop will automatically recognize it and ask if you want to use it as a duplicate screen or a screen extension. Then you can play around in the display settings to choose resolutions and the primary screen.

Wow.

I just got it all hooked up now. All I can say is...WOW. I have a TON of screen real estate to play with now. Too bad I can't really give my games a try, I don't think the 8600M GT could handle it. It runs fine on 1280x800, but it can't pull 1920...

Wow. It's worth EVERY penny (I had to pay for a little bit ). No dead pixels, just plain win.

Yep, bought one a month ago or so, and I'm absolutly amazed by it. Taking care of it as much as humanly possible.

The 226BW don't even look like the 245B/BW.
