I like it. My rig handles it excellent of course, but a 3ghz p4 with 512mb of ram can actually run vista and run it well as long as you keep it clean and don't have a bunch of background stuff going. My gf's mom bought a compaq with a p4 and 512mb and it runs like **** because she doesn't know how to use it and has like 15,000 bs startup programs. Her grandpa bought an hp(I think) with nearly identical specs and it runs perfect on his because he doesn't use it enough to mess it up, all he does is play pogo.com games. Its a good OS though now that most of the bugs are worked out.

Thats not just Vista though, thats any OS, and its because of all the extra background apps and services running, and registry clutter/errors and all that good stuff. You can keep vista running just as fast as the day you bought it if you keep everything cleaned up.Edited by Puscifer - 7/9/08 at 2:04pm
