why 939, it would be a little cheaper to go AM2, and more cost effective

I see you are really going for a low cost unit here....

However, the MB and chip are really outdated. That AMD still uses the 90nm technology, and I would stay away from that. Spend the money and go with a Wolfdale. They are amazing chips and the cost is unbeatable. Intel has AMD by the balls with this new technology. A 2.53 Ghz dual core will run $130:

and a decent motherboard for it $48:

Just evaluate how long you will be using this PC for and what you will need it to run. Sometimes it is better to invest a little more now and know that the PC will last you longer - in the end it may save you money overall.

If you plan on doing some gaming, go with the 8600 GT DDR3. Much better card, and the rebate on that card will make it nearly the same price as your 6600 ($70):

Best of luck to you, and if you have any questions PM me.

Edit: Forgot to mention, the 45nm Duo will overclock VERY nicely... Count on 3.2 Ghz as an easy target with stock cooling. I've got the E8400 3.0 @ 4.0 and I love it!
