I'm thinking of going with the bong method myself. I'm on air cooling right now and I hate having my rig on because it makes the room so damn hot.

Hehehe, Although irrelevant for you I just turn my fans up to something ridiculously noisy then slap on the good old Sennheisers . I forgot who mentioned it but throwing a radiator in a pool would be an interesting thing to see.

just a weird thought... would switching from water to something with a higher latent heat help...? liquid nitrogen....? Dry Ice at high pressure in an air tight container..... takes away the heat... sublimes... increases pressure to make the rest of dry ice to sublime slower.... i dont know... im just throwing ideas from high school chemistry... thats as far as i went with chem... been all physics and math since then....

hook up your water lines to a radiator still adn then put that radiator outside your window in the shade?
might not be the greatest just might work though. but with 108* days your fairly SOL as is.

The only problem with a bong cooler is that you will get alot of humidity in your room although it should be cooler...if you blow the top of your bong out the door or out one of the vent holes in your garage...I think all garages have vent holes right? You need to leave the top of your bong open.

the other thing I was just thinking was...how about a large blower?

put the blower to suck out the hot air from your case and blow it through a home brew swamp cooler...use a 20 gallon rubbermade tote box...

and hang some strips of cloth from the top, fill the bottom with water and use a pump to "wet" the hanging cloth...an intake on one side to bring in hot air and an output hole on the other side to vent the cool air back into your room. I think this will work for ya man!!!!!!!!!

^^^^HaHa...Thats pretty cool......It would work to, might slime over, but replacing cloth strips isn't exactly expensive, you could just cut up some of the synthetic fiber mats they use for swamp coolers, they would last longer, maybe...I'd just vent it all the way out of the room...
