I plan on saving up all my money 'till Christmas so I can build this beast, i've got around $400 atm.. Also, open to suggestions if anyone has any!

Not sure about video cards, because I plan on eventually getting a 2nd 9800GTX and SLI'ing it..But I think that the new 4000 series cards by Radeon would do alot better due to the GDDR4 RAM with them, but to run more than 1 of the Radeon cards, I'd need to run a crossfire setup which means getting a new Motherboard specifically for crossfire, and that means I'd have to get an AMD processor.. and we all know AMD Proc's just can't compete with Intel...

Also, need a better case that has tons of great ratings + needs fantastic airflow because this beast is going to get some serious overclockage

EDIT: 422.919 GBP

thank you, a list in US dollars, as everyone is lazy to just basically multiply the pounds by roughly 2(no need to be perfect) and vice versa....as for the euro, just 1.5 of the us dollar duh! but on the OT, nice build-until i saw it was in Pounds...

Less than $600 LAN thrasher (what I'm planning to build):

NZXT Rogue case
Deskstar 320GB HDD
Thermaltake PurePower 500W PSU
OCZ Platinum REV2 2GB RAM
Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L MicroATX mobo
3X Logisys red LED 120MM case fans (case comes with one)(Of course, this is completely optional and just for the pimpin' factor. Take off $15 if you don't include these)
Xigmatek Rifle CPU cooler
HIS Hightech Radeon 3870 (Could downgrade to 3850 to shave off about $55)

Comes out to $695 shipped, and $595 shipped including mail-in rebates. Woohoo!

We could always build it 1 part by 1, so we could start with the essentials such as the Mobo + Processor, and case...

Or leave out the 210$ video card + the non-essential sound card for now and subtract like 200-300$ from the build xD

Lingling, why do you want to have that little square case? for portability? (sp?)

That, and, I like the looks better than a normal tower.
