We’ve known about the Asus Eee Box for over a month, but now we can finally confirm the official pricing and specs for the tiny box of tricks.

Coming in at an incredibly wallet–friendly £199, the new machine, officially dubbed the Asus Eee Box B202, will show up in white and black first (no mention of the pink version as yet).

Inside you’ll find a 80GB hard drive, Windows XP Home, two USB ports, Ethernet, a card reader and DVI out. It even comes bundled with a keyboard and mouse, so you only have to supply the monitor. Talk about a bargain!

We’ll be getting hold of our model soon, so be sure to keep it here for a full review and hands–on video.

"I know what Grandma will be getting for her birthday this year!"

"On second thought... I don't want to have to teach her what a 'double click' is... or how to 'copy and paste'... *groan*"

good marketing, if they could drop the price to $250 it'll sell millions. $299 is not really that great of a deal considering it is only a web surfer, but i really like how small it is

and nintendo should sue them for the nunchuck mouse, it'll be funny
