no problem Mort. When I can on my days off I'll try and gather average ppd's for Nvidia and ATI cards......I have a feeling it will take awhile.

Really?! Wow, that's hella low compared to my 8800. Is that other client the CPU folding as well? If it is that could make sense why it's a little slower I guess since the CPU wouldn't be completely devoted to your GPU. My 8800 is right at 5k PPD with a 700 clock.

I seem to be the only one not affected by any decrease in PPD.

Well hmmm... I did have the CPU folding as well. I shut that down this afternoon and my GPU went right back up. It didn't get as high as it was before. It is now running between 4700-5100ppd. I wonder how I would be able to run both and not lose that higher ppd.

So out of curiosity, what do you guys set the "Calculate PPD based on ____" in the Preferences under Monitoring? Is choosing one over another going to give a better overall estimate? I've been using every frame, but all frames seems to show a higher PPD.

I just running it at default settings right until I can read up on it.

:swearing:

Seems that for some reason Stanford never gets the WUs from my Quad... that's why my ppd is so low lately :swearing:

Not sure what the issue is... Just found out that stanford reports only 4 cores in the last 7 days (which are the two GPUs, the E6600 and the E6750 most likely).

This sucks.

Oh well.. reconfigured the folding at home client. Info stays the same though.. not sure. Maybe it helps

Just experiment from Fossil's post. I dropped the CPU client and just ran the GPU and my GPU ppd went back up to it's original ppd average. What is confusing is I ran the CPU before with the GPU client and didn't have an issue. I read that Stanford had some sever issues between then and now. Now I do not know if that is directly related to our ppd's or not,But it does seem so.

I have Thursday "today" off from work. I will re-install the old Nvidia drivers (177.35) and do a fresh install of F@H 5.03 and the GPU client and see if that makes a difference.

I will also note that about the same time my ppd's went down I had installed the current 177.45 Nvidia drivers. I'll report back later this evening.

EDIT: Do you guys think I should add a CPU Intel/AMD list as well?
