M-16
M-60
Shotgun
Thrown real grenades

Take a guess where I have done those things.
Can you please leave this thread and go feed your ego elsewhere? Seriously?

I've fired a .22 rifle, a shotgun and an M1 Carbine. I've also shot a few different rifles on the farm I grew up on.

I don't see why you felt it was relevant to tell us about your gun experiences? Is this thread called "What have you shot?" No..

And I could argue all day that video games take no skill anyway, so who gives a ****.

Actually.. just reading your post for a 2nd time.. I just see no point to it, other than to draw attention to yourself. Congratulations. You win.

Now go back outside and throw more rocks at the invisible enemies and pretend they exploded.

Heh. Played em all, love em all.

Love BF2 Sniping.. Gulf of Oman.. they can never figure out where I'm hiding. BF2142.. Oh yea.

I specialize in taking out the other.. rookie snipers. I pick off the infantrymen as they come, but it's more fun to spot an enemy sniper and follow him and wait until he gets right where he wants to be.. and then taking him out.

You sick sick man! (I would hate to be that guy)

You really don't like sniping in CoD4? I love using the perks to hide from radar, silent moving, silencers etc. Not to mention the camo works very well and you can hide in the grass and other vegatation very easily.

If you've already played all the big names, you probably won't find much else out there. I would recommend trying to "improve" your experience in your current games.

I pointed out my experience with weapons as a direct comparison when looking for shooting games. Really not that hard to understand.

No need to get upset.

If you dont want others opinions then why did you start this thread in the first place.

My point is that real life movement is hard to mimic in games so I prefer faster paced games since they come closer to real life actions.

I was initially attacked when I showed my opinion so my response was just in retaliation.

Another game I didnt see mentioned was Red Orchestra since you want something with really drawn out maps.

Here is some sniper action from the game. The wind and gravity aspects are already built into the game. The maps are endless.

the ONLY games that i snipe in are BF2 when playing strike at karkand, usually infantry only servers - using L96A1 = headshots galore lol.

AND CoD4 on 24/7 crossfire maps...OWNAGE!

the earlier CoD games had decent sniping, CoD:UO was awesome either way because everyone just loves rifles. so rifle only servers are good for that.

Oh yeah, Sniper Elite for Xbox. I was gonna freak out if nobody mentioned this game. It was a lot of fun to play and once it started getting easy we just turned up the reality (wind, gravity) and it was a new game all over again. I can't believe you haven't played this.

Well theres never any use to fuel a flame war.

Red Orchestra.. looks a bit outdated..

I think I'll stick to CoD4 and BF2/2142 atleast until BF3 comes out.

By all means, I love COD4. Love Love Love Love Love it. I could play that single player map over and over and over and over.. and then go into Multiplayer and do it over and over and over again.

But I was just getting a gauge of what else is out there. I'd love some kind of like HL2 mod or something heh.

Sometimes don't you just wish you could make a game by thinking it?

I think they toned the graphics down because the game is so busy and the maps are incredibly big. You literally can run around for hours and not see one other player. You will never find yourself in the same spot either.

The game was released only 2 years ago. It doesnt look any worse than COD4.

INSURGENCY! Can't believe I forgot to mention it, it's one of my favorite games.

Fairly realistic in all aspects, and the sniping is great fun.
