Intel Pentium D overclock problem

hi,
3 weeks ago my uncle overclocked my ghz,
and now my pc gets hot makes noices and shuting down when i load heavy stuff on it.
my board is intel pentium D CPU 925 3.00GHz

ive downloaded "intel processor id utility"
and it said:
speed:expected 3.00GHz reported core 1/2 3.29GHz (red)
system bus: 800MHz reported core 1/2 879 (red)

also i have CMOS not BIOS so thats why i need to know how to make my pc stop doing this.

please help

go into the BIOS, and look for an option that says to reset to factory defaults and do that

should be fine after that, your uncle should of tested the overclock before he done it
shame on him for not testing it

If you can't do anything else, turn off and, unplug the power supply then remove the battery for a few minutes. That will completely reset the CMOS.

Agreed. As far as it goes, What temp. is your room at? I know that can have a major effect on an OC. It's possible his uncle did test it, but in a much colder room. I know I personally like it a good 10 degrees more than most people.
