I would just like to THANK 'XFX' for coming to OCN and helping out when he wasnt obligated to. To do so in the first place is a gesture of goodwill, not to mention replacing the card out of goodwill. If only more companies could follow this example the silicon world might be a better place

Either way, I have had XFX in the past, have XFX coming to me now, and by god if this is the support XFX gives out (walks to your door and tries to help) I wont have a problem buying XFX in the future!

unfortunatly, ive been ATTEMPTING to contact XFX for the past 3 weeks, sent a dozen unanswered emails, my login has been deleted or i cant remember the password, and the password retrevial doesnt want to send me my password, ive check spam folders as well as inbox. about 2 months ago my 9600 started acting up and i started talking to the reps about testing it and getting it sent back, which i have in a couple different systems and it seems to do the same thing, after a couple hours of play it gets funky, performance goes to s**t gives me game crashes, and last week i got a horriblly loud sound and a black screen, rebooted and it was fine.

its now back in my system, and its doing the same thing working for a couple hours then you see performace start to suffer and crash and im fairly annoyed. the card is about 3 or 4 months old.. i think i got it in april. they havnt emailed me back and i cant get into the help system on the website as i cant get my email i registered the card with to accept my password or send it to me and quite frankly im very very annoyed.


this is the first time ive gone away from an EVGA card on the nvidia side and evga has never givin me problems (well, i bought a B-Stock mobo for this system and they took FOREVER sending it, apperently the shipment got overlooked for a week and after calling them 3 times they figured it out, gave me a discount and tossed in some free cables that wernt gonna come with the board, so i was very happy)

im giving XFX another week and a couple more emails to right this, and at least give me the next step, otherwise im gonna drop this card and go back to a trusted company that at least will answer emails and has a WORKING site.


man, why are these companies so up and down with customer service, it seems like half the people love what they get, and the other half hates the company because of how horrible it is.


I will say, when i actually got to communicate with them, they were knowledgable and helpful, but i dont think it should be this hard to get in contact with support staff. its a really good thing i have back up cards layin around otherwise i would be peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeev'd

searching and searching i finally found my XFX registration number for my card, so im gonna bombard them again, this time with my number which i hadn't been able to find. we'll see if this improves anything.

Hopefully I get some good service with them. I have sent my second RMA for an 8400GS. The first one died after 6 months, and now the second one has succumbed in less than a week. I have requested a full refund. We shall see!

Well i would just like to point out that the XFX warranty for the UK and the USA are completely different.
In the Uk we get a standard no frills 2 year warranty that is not modder friendly

While our friends in the USA get the double lifetime warranty(Lifetime Warrantys, Transferable Protection, Modder Friendly)

I have had no problems with my own card , but living in the UK i know i would feel a lot better if I had the same warranty protection as the USA.
