I'll probably sell my 8800gt, give the GTS to my brother for his upcoming system (Antec 900, 8800gts, Corsair HX620W... and an AMD 3500+) as it's his birthday soon and buy myself a Radeon 4850. But, it's all subject to change

Hey Alex

Glad all arrived OK, But i would stay clear of those ATI things if i were you....

Get yourself a GTX260 / 280, with the PhysX software / drivers, these things really perform well. And going forward more games will have the PhysX in them.

kind regards
XFX

Ha, i'll consider it when the price is right. But, yeah, the card seems to be working fine.

Sorry if i was a pain

oo a double lifetime warranty, that's impressive. Although i only plan to live for 1 lifetime.

i got a 10 year warrenty from eVGA. However i had to fill in a form and it was too much trouble for me.

I've never had to RMA anything yet (touch wood), but xfx seem to have taken a pesonal intrest into your problem, glad to see it's been resolved.

I too was a bit...careful about this 'xfx' person (who was infact xfx). Only because it seemed too good to be true, and too easy to do.

Nice to see the OCN staff taking care of the RMA process, even though it was really nothing to do with them, alot of other people would have stood by and watched them struggle.

Shameless plug!

J/k. Great work on helping a customer out. Now they need to find the guy that was initially ignoring alex and replace him with someone like you.

I love pny cards. They have very responsive techs and no hassle rma's. My last 7900gs i fried by cranking the ram up too high and it wouldn't freeze, it would just artifact, and not to the point to where it bothered me, but eventually that burnt it out. They took it back no questions asked and OVERNIGHT shipped my new card back, brand new with all accessories in retail packaging when all i sent back was the cart itself and the receipt.
