You are right about that but I am, replacing everything and given this to my GF. It kinda needs to be able to last as long as possible for her. You all seem to agree that the 4850 is the best option right?

I also say 4850...

If you look here. You will notice that the 4850 beats a 3870x2 w/1gb all the way up until the highest screen res... (when finally the 1gb comes into play). And its still on young drivers. I noticed a difference between Orginial Drivers, Hot Fix Drivers, and now beta 8.7 drivers.
