F@H: Wake up OCN!

Thread Starter
Out of the TOP 10 PPD F@H Teams with Forums, I think OCN has the best UPSIDE in terms of growth.

The most important part of any F@H Team is the member base. At my current team we only have 600+ Folders and we are in the Top 3 in Team PPD. Thats a heck of alot of PPD per member. OCN is only 200 members behind, but OCN has twice MORE members to tap.

OCN has only tapped only about 25% of its member base into folding! At 400+ members you are already in the TOP 10 PPD. Imagine if you had another 1200 members folding.

With the relative "ease" of GPU2 folding for both ATI and Nvidia, there is no excuse for OCN to be #1 in Team Production.

FOLD for your Team 37726.

We've been on the move!
Since my Post about 2 weeks ago we've moved up from just over 500 K to about 750K.
Not to shabby
Now, if we could just get more members to jump on the Folding Wagon, OCNs PPD would skyrocket

You know what would get our numbers up? Make it mandatory to fold if you want to post or start threads. But then again that just me...

Not everyone is able to, too hot, too expensive power bill, or they don't pay the power bill themselves and aren't allowed to use that much (I'm thinking of the underage members here).

Maybe some sort of bonus for folding? (note, I fold, but for a team I was a member of before I joined here. It's not going too well though.)

just start telling people after you run prime, run SMP client for a few days just to double check that everything is nice and stable
then with any luck they will get hooked and start folding more and more, and getting more and more folding rigs until they pull a gibby

Hey that's pretty good, and its not a lie. My system was prime stable but not folding stable.

What we need is the GPU2 client to become stable

there are still many bugs but imagine if I could convince a few friends to just "open this thing up for 5 hours a day, or while you sleep, work, or study".....

the GPU2 client is easy to RUN... getting it stable is a whole diff story

but OCN's productivity is THROUGH THE ROOF recently!

Moar F@H NOW!
