Then, right, when you're done being an idiot and throwing yourself behind subject A or B, you can hang yourself and save the world, or at least these forums, from one more fanboy.

On Topic:

Why are all these cards coming out now? I don't see the point Crysis Warhead's supposed to play on hgh settings on a 8600GT (a good indication that it's going to be ****) All 4 new cards are going to be 9,999 overkill.
Which cards are you talking about? The new GTX 280/260 and HD 4870/4850? Or are you talking about these new 55nm cards Nvidia is gonna advance?

If your talking about the new high end cards, then its cuz companies bring new products to the table to sell to their customers to make some moolah

if your talking about the 55nm shrink Nvidia is gonna do, its cuz their gpus now have terrible yields, the should have started off with 55nm, skipping 65nm like ATI but they were too chicken, now seeing how hot, power comsuming and expensive the GT200, they need any little way to take it down a notch.

Anyways, they don't make videocards for us to play crysis war hammer... they make it so we can stuff their pockets with wads of cash.

I didn't include the various memory changes for the 8600 and below. There is also the 8300 and 8200, they are about as good as integrated graphics :swearing:

Oh, and I forgot about the 8800GS 192!

I also forgot to mention the mobile versions of the G80

Like a said, too many freaking GPUs.

You're missing the many core revisions.

yeah but you want a real difference between each card, not just a new name. the biggest step was 8800 GTS G80 to 8800 GT G92.

and all those different cards and revisions and all that, and not one came close to beating the 8800 GTX or the Ultra.
