So, is that "50%" with two GPU2 clients?
is that 25% referring to one core on full load? I may have phrased it wrong, as for me, 50% load was one core maxed out. For a quad, that means one core maxed out is 25% which makes sense for you.
I assume with those higher loads, you are under XP... If you got a spare/ separate harddrive, try changing your folding rigs to Vista32 or 64bit.... You have alot more potential with Nvidia GPU folding (Not sure about ATI....) but I experienced first had that on the same hardware, clockrates, and drivers - Vista32(is what I tested) SMOKED XP32 in terms of PPD.....
XP: SMP=2100; GPU=5-6.6kPPD combined
Vista32: SMP:3200; GPU 8.5-9.8kPPD combined (13k on one rig)
This was done on my sig rig testing

CPU usage dances between 20% and 40% per client, with an average of roughly 33% per client. Thus, total CPU load is under 70% most of the time. And that's a single core Celly.
My dad had an old celeron sitting here... but it only has PCI slots
I wonder if I could just get a diff mobo and make my own folding rig
pick up an 8800 G92 core or somethin and be smokin away!!!Edited by XFreeRollerX - 7/15/08 at 12:25am
