Overclocking is sufficient for the average oc'er on it. A friend of mine has a b3 q6600 at 3.2 on his with no problems; beyond that I don't know. It's a great board, and if you wanted to save some cash you could pick up the Evga 750i ftw. It's also a great board and is the only 750i that offers 16x in sli.

i was just going to ask about the 750i. is the main difference 2 sli oppose to tri sli?
Since it's an older chipset, it doesn't support OC'ing as well, naturally.

That's basically the only difference.

i would much rather have a 680i than a 750. its just a better board IMO more options and equal overclocking

I personally think Evga is the best brand to get. I haven't had too much luck with asus.

As for 750i vs 680i, do whatever you want. They'll probably offer equal OC ability and sli.
