Help with compuer build

Thread Starter
Basically, I would like to build a computer that can play Counter Strike: Source, Use photoshop ( CS2 ) and surf the internet. My maximum budget is £500.
Also, I would like to mention that i live in the UK, so link's to good site's that are either located in the UK or ship to the UK would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
Perry

Hey there perry. Guess who?

I built something up for you a while back, something like 8800gs, ds3l, e7200. But I can't remember whether you needed a monitor in that price too.

I don't have to have a monitor in that price, but it would be nice.
And conductor preferably after shipping and VAT, but if it's a little over I don't mind.

Ok here's one that I made earlier:

It's an absolute steal on the 8800gs too. Any thoughts from others? I considered making it AMD to try and cut the price down but I don't have any knowledge of good AMD mobo's.

Heres my suggestion -

Mobo-
DFI Bloodiron P35-T2RL - Great Overclocker - Nice Board. - £64.61

CPU-
Intel E7200 - 45nm - Great Overclocker - Should Get 3.6ghz with ease. - £82.89

RAM-
OCZ 1066mhz - Good RAM - Looks Nice too - £38.48

PSU-
Corsair 450w PSU - Great Quality PSU - £43.99

GPU-
XFX 8800GT 512mb - Great Price For A Recognised Brand - Will Perform Very Well - £103.99

HDD-
Seagate 320gb HDD - Not 360GB as advertised, but a great HDD, I have one in my sig - £36.41

O/S-
Vista Home Premium x64 - Not much to say here - £58.74

Case-
Antec 300 - Sorry Namtlade - I nicked it. Nice Case, Good Quality and Airflow - £34.09

CPU Cooling-
OCZ Vendetta 2 - Great CPU Cooler, Comes with a good fan too - £30.22

Delivery-
From £7.80

TOTAL - £500.62

That is what I would do with your dosh. If you wanted to cut corners get the 8800GS Namtlade mentioned from scan. The above list are all from CCL computers, great service, never had issues from them .

If you really must have an optical drive, heres one -
LG GH20NS15 20x DVDRW

It puts you slightly over-budget but I think its worth it for the DFI and 8800GT.

If you really wanted it <£500, you could drop down to an E2180, should easily overclock to 3.0ghz, possibly more.
