does the flash drive definitely have the boot sector files?

did you hit (mash) F8 while booting? that brings you to the BIOS menu where you can select the boot device

Yeah, you have to tell it to boot from USB if you're not already.

Like Cog mentioned. A copy of a CD does not include the boot files. What kind of CD?

I guess that's where I went wrong, the CD has it but the thumb drive doesn't...

Yeah, on this rig it's ESC and I saw the thumb drive on the list but it keeps saying "Disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter"

The CD is the Linux image that I used to load Linux on the other machines, I figured I could copy the exact same thing onto a thumb drive and be good, guess that's not the case...

What do I have to do to get it to work?

I've never tried this before...I guess I did something wrong thus far hehe...

Thanks for the fast replies I really want to get this to work...

I am checking that site now, seems to be EXACTLY what I needed...It seems I went wrong thinking just copying isn't the right way to do it...

Now to egt this set up on the rest of them...Thanks all for your help...
