Duel Vista Install

Thread Starter
Hey everyone,

Im looking at doing another installation of Vista.. What I want to do is Shrink like 15gigs of one of my drives and make a new partition from it.

In doing so I will do a fresh install of Vista on this new drive. When its fully installed and updated or whatever.. will I get the duel boot option or will this mess up my current installation?

You should be good to go. Once you shrink it, just make the new partition and format it. Then, when you run the new vista install, simply select the new partition, and you should be good to go. 15Gb is awfully small for a Vista install though...

Just curious, why do you want to dual boot Vista twice? I've never heard of anyone doing this. No idea if it will work though, give it a try.

It'll work. He'll just get 2 'Microsoft Windows Vista' options at boot up. he can actually rename these using something like EasyBCD to make it less confusing.

I was wondering why? It makes booting up take longer so why have 2 different Vista installs?
