Big enough power supply?

It takes a 6 pin and an 8 pin connector to power it right, both plugged in?

I've made some simple mistakes in my days so just asking if it could be one of these problems.

If it's bad, that would be awful. Hope you get one working soon!
My bro has an 850W power supply, I have a 1000W (in sig)

and it using 2 6 pins, the 280 uses an 8 pin and 6 pin connector

One faulty card and ppl just blame the chipset, this I don't understand. It could be the retailer's fault, shipping carrier's, or the manufactures.
Ah i understand, i apologize for my ignorance!

Plenty of power for sure! I hate getting new things that don't work, especially when you mail order it! I hope it's worth the wait.

Sometimes RMA will ship out one the same day you contact them. I hope it goes smooth for ya!
