Oh you think that's bad, try dealing with their customer service about motherboard support. I hung up and said screw it the last time I talked to them. I changed the FSB on my mobo and it wouldn't post. I had saved it to bios so yeah you can kinda feel the frustration. Well, I called them and the dude told me that it takes 24 hours to Clear the CMOS........yeah I'm not a scientist or anything but I doubt that. So anyway, 20 minutes of crap later and I read the manual. Turns out, there's a jumper on the mobo that you can use to reset the FSB down to the lowest so that you can change the settings in the bios back and then put the jumper back on it's normal position. Waste of time calling them.

Dear Stephen,

For your issue, first of all ,we are sorry that we have not given a satisfying answer in the last mail.

There are something we would like to explain to you :

1).What we can supply just is technical support,we have no right to order the differernt distributors or resellers.I believe that you can understand that what we can dicide and what we can not in our own duty.

2).Here what we can suggest is that will you please contact your reseller (the place you bought the board from) for more help. If the reseller for some reason cannot help, we have to suggest you to check if there is MSI distributors nearby. You could find their address or website on this link. wheretobuyIndex
If by chance , there is no MSI distributors, you can try to contact MSI office nearby. aboutus

3).Sorry again for any inconvenience caused by us!

If any one can makes sense of point one it would really help me out. :swearing:
They're somewhat right. Basically what they're saying is that they (MSI Taiwan) make the cards which they send to their distributors. The distributors then package them with all the dongles, manuals, etc and then send them off to the retailers who then sell them to the consumers. These guys are the distributors for Ireland, but they're probably not going to be of much help either. I would try first at the retailer and then the distributor.

That said, MSI is handling this TERRIBLY. There's no way a 10 cent connector is worth all this trouble. That's part of the customer service angle and they seem to be lacking.

Maybe so but while it says MSI on the box they are some what responsible for the support, I can imagine the responce I would get from a distributor if I went to them looking for support.
