Uh isn't that what the technology world has ALWAYS been like? It's not anything new here...

Ati wins for 6 months, nvidia wins for a year, ati wins for 6 months, nvidia wins for 3, then ati again, etc etc.

It is said that NVIDIA possible cancel G200b and to release new G3x0. It will integrate 384SP and it will use 45nm technology. Its power consumption will cut a lot than G200. Its clocks will be improved to 850/2000MHz. It will match 1GB 256bit GDDR5 memory and the clock will be more than 4000MHz. It will defeat 4870X2.
That is the whole damn article. No other sources. Just a random poorly spelled paragraph that says an unknown video card will defeat another unreleased video card. People, smarten up.

ROFL
This is just an attempt to get lame people to hold off on buying ATI.
Nvidia's got nothing up it's sleeve, they are just clammering for anything they can get.

Wow, no information, no proof...no nothing.

This sounds like blatant BS......If Nvidia could have done all this the first time round they would have. Why has this got better energy efficiency?Surely Nvidia would have added that if they already had it available.....

I would have an easier time believing pigs could fly tbh.

This just in! R800 will dominate this mystery Nvidia card!

Seriously guys, why are we comparing a card that does not exist yet with a card (4870x2) that's already slated to release in a few days?

I wish they'd come up with something that was as advanced as the 8800GTX when it came out, to just blow everything else out of the water.

Who's to say the 88GTX was advanced? It was a brilliant card, it is just that ATI didn't offer any competition so Nvidia didn't need to release any new cards. Don't get me wrong, it was an awesome card, but it only held it's position for so long because ATI didn't have anything to fight with. Nvidia more than likely had superior technology lined up a couple of months after the 88GTX release. They just had no motivation to release it.

That is all speculation of course But if you believe this thread then why not believe my post

Ok... but isn't it obvious that the next-gen of cards should beat the current gen of cards? That's what always happens... duh. Otherwise there's no point in making new cards.

Both ATI and NVIDIA will obviously beat the 4870x2 with their next-gen flagships... but what really matters is which of those flagships will be the best? No one can possibly know yet.
