Room temps are 75 right now. I just made another FSB and got it up to 3.0GHz! MY BIOS saiys multipier of 7 but CPU-Z saiys 6? My core voltage is 1.328. I am going to run Prime 95 in the morning to see how she works. I don't think I'll mess with it any more for now. Should There be anything else I need to adjust? All I did was add to the FSB from 1333 up to 1713 that got me to this point. Thanks for any more help!

The reason your multi drops is because Intel has enabled 1 or more power saving features in your BIOS. Most overeclockers disable them in the BIOS.They could be called Speedstep, C1E,EIST or something similar.
Great temps though.

If the CPU has any load on it, the multi will automatically increase to the higher multi. It's not necessary, so test with it on if you want. If it gives you any issues, disable it and see if it helps.

I ran Prime 95 for 1 1/2 hours and got this message:
FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file. Where do I find the stress file? So do I need to increase my CPU voltage?

One other thing, My BIOS is from Phoenix Technologies, LTD ver. P5P. I checked out EVGA and thier BIOS update is P06. Will this screw things up if I use this new BIOS?
