Ok so after calling BFG and registering my 9800gtx ive been sitting around wondering what to do now that i can easily start a trade up.

My big question is.. what will BFG give me for my 9800gtx... So I called them back and asked... they tell me that so long as the card is working they will pay me the price I paid for it (Proof of purchse is needed to register so that takes care of that)

I paid 270 for it... now it is suggested that a 9800GTX+ ... basically as many of you know a over clocked 55nm core version of the 9800GTX is going to be released sometime in July or August... its also supposed to be released at $229 while the 9800gtx will drop to $200.

Does this mean (hard to imagine but...) that if I organized a trade up when the 9800GTX+ comes out ... BFG will have to pay me about 40 bucks AND send me a better (the 9800gtx+) card?

LOL

I actually asked a BFG Rep this and his exact response was "Although I am not entirely sure, as the Trade Up program is quite new, I can tell you that it is entirely possible."

You know that would be the best thing ever - getting paid to get a better card - even if the 9800GTX+ is only slightly better or not...
